With this privacy policy (hereinafter: “Privacy Policy”) the company GOLF CONCEPT d.o.o. (hereinafter: “we”, “us”), as the owner of the website www.golfconcept.hr and as a data controller, would like to inform you about the way your personal data is collected and processed.

Processing of Personal Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: “GDPR”). We processes personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, taking care that the data is processed exclusively in a way that ensures adequate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or illegal processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, by applying appropriate technical and organizational measures.

Categories and Purpose of Data Processing

We collect and process the following types of personal data:

  • personal data of employees and former employees in accordance with the employment contract and applicable laws;
  • personal data of business partners and associates in accordance with the respective contracts;
  • personal data of website users, as well as potential employees who contact us via the contact form, e-mail, telephone or other means.

We process personal data collected through the contact form exclusively for the purpose of answering the inquiry.

We do not forward your personal data to other data processors and we do not disclose it to third parties except in certain circumstances when we are required to do so by the relevant regulations to the extent necessary to achieve the established purpose.

Data Processors
We may forward personal data for use to providers of IT and communication solutions and services who act as contracted processors. In this case, the processor processes personal data only according to our order, on our behalf, in order to fulfill the purpose for which the personal data was collected and in the manner determined by mutual agreement, in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR. Personal data may be stored or processed by the processor within or outside the European Union.

Personal Data of Children

This website is not intended for persons under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children under the age of 16. In the event that we learn that we have received such data, we will delete it. If your child has given us their personal data, please inform us via our email.

Data Retention Period

We process collected personal data until the purpose of collecting personal data is fulfilled. After fulfilling the purpose for which the data was collected, the data are no longer used and are stored in the storage systems of the data controller, where they are stored in accordance with legal regulations on the storage of archival materials.

The rights you have in accordance with the GDPR are as follows:

  • Right of access – the right to obtain information about the purpose of personal data processing, the categories of personal data that are processed, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom personal data has been disclosed or will be disclosed to, the anticipated period in which personal data will be stored, and in the case when personal data is not collected from you, about its source. It also includes your right to receive a printout of your personal data contained in the storage system.
  • Right to rectification – the right to request the correction of incorrect data or the addition of your personal data.
  • Right to erasure – the right to request the erasure of your personal data provided that the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected, or legal purposes, or if you withdraw the consent on which the processing is based.
  • Right to restriction of processing – the right to request restriction of processing if the prerequisites defined by the GDPR are met.
  • Right to revoke consent – the right to revoke consent previously given. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legal validity of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Right to transfer data – the right to request the delivery of your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to transfer this data to another data controller if the data’s processing is based on consent or a contract, and if the processing is carried out by automated means.
  • Right to object – the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

We will provide you with the requested information and notification of the actions taken no later than one month from the date of receipt of your request. If the processing of the request is complex or there are a large number of requests, the deadline of one month can be extended by another two months, in which case we will inform you of the reasons for the possible extension of the deadline.

In case of rejection of your request, we will inform you without delay, and no later than within one month of receiving the request, about the reasons for the rejection of the request.

In case of receiving requests that are clearly unfounded or excessive, especially due to their frequent repetition, we may, in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs or refuse to act on the request.

Direct Marketing

You have the right to prohibit the use of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, market research and market profiling for direct marketing purposes.

To opt out of direct marketing, you can use the unsubscribe option provided in direct marketing messages. You can also send an unsubscribe request to our email address at any time.

Linked Websites

Linked websites are not necessarily owned or controlled by us and are not subject to this Privacy Policy. Any linked website applies its own privacy policy, is an independent data controller and is responsible for personal data shared with it by users. The user who accesses any website linked to this website does so entirely at their own risk.
